Going cycling? Topsham ferry back up and running

The Topsham ferry is up and running again as of 1 April.

Taking passengers and bicycles across the estuary from Topsham to Exminster marshes, the ferry is an excellent shortcut to the cycle path on the other side.

The ferry landing points are in Topsham near the Passage House Inn, and near the Topsham Lock Cottage across the river.

The proposed times at which it will operate are:

Wed 7th 11.20 to 5.30 pm

Thur 8th 12.15 to 5.30 pm

Fri 9th 12.45 to 5.30 pm

Sat 10th 9.00 to 10.00 am & 2.00 to 5.30 pm

Sun 11th 9.00 to 10.45 am & 2.30 to 5.30 pm

Mon 12th 9.30 to 11.30 am & 3.30 to 5.30 pm

Wed 14th 9.30 to 12.30 pm

Thur 15th 9.30 to 12.45

Fri 16th 9.30 to 1.15 pm

Sat 17th 9.30 to 1.45

Sun 18th 9.30 to 2.15

Mon 19th 9.30 to 2.45

Wed 21st 9.30 to 5.30

Thur 22nd 9.30 to 5.30

Fri 23rd 10.45 to 5.30

Sat 24th 11.45 to 5.30

Sun 25th 08.45 to 10.45 & 1.15 to 5.30 pm

Mon 26th 9.00 to 10.45 & 1.45 to 5.30 pm

Wed 28th 9.30 to 11.45 & 3.30 to 5.30 pm

Thur 29th 9.30 to 12.45 pm

Fri 3th 9.00 to 1.15pm

Please note that the ferry cannot operate one to two hours either side of low tide.
