Graffiti has reappeared on the community shelter in Phear Park just two months after it was repainted for the third time.

East Devon District Council said in November it would look to remove the shelter if the problem could not be resolved.

A spokesperson for the council told Nub News: "We have been keeping an eye on the shelter at Phear Park in Exmouth and for any issues that may arise, removing any graffiti that may appear as soon as we can, like elsewhere in the district.

"If anyone witnesses any graffiti taking place anywhere in East Devon, please take note of a description and, if it is safe to do so, take a picture or video, to send to the police online.

"This evidence will be able to help police when attempting to identify vandals, in turn, hopefully allowing us to keep our community spaces looking nice for everyone to enjoy across the district.

"If you spot graffiti in a public space (that just needs cleaning up), please report it via EDDC's website and our officers will arrange appropriate measures."
