East Devon District Council removed graffiti from a memorial bench and curb near Orcombe Point today (20 April).

A spokesperson said: "Our specialist REACT team have been at Orcombe Point in Exmouth today to remove graffiti at various locations, one of which was a memorial bench along the seafront."

The graffiti may have appeared earlier today or yesterday, according to posts on social media.

This is the second time that graffiti has been removed near Orcombe Point - just three weeks ago two members of the public removed some from the cliffs below the geoneedle.
