Healthcare Assistant - SCS Mental Health

Location: Exmouth

Pay: £11/12-14 per hour days/nights, depending on seniority and shifts.

Daily Duties

- To work under internal company procedures and frameworks to support service users towards living a more independent lifestyle within the home as an ongoing agency worker.

- To deliver specialist elderly and dementia care and offer those less able additional support in line with individual care plans.

- Working closely with the nursing team, you will assist the service users through daily living offering both physical and emotional support delivering an element of companionship.

Requirements

• Preferable to have an NVQ Lvl 2 in Health & Social Care
• Preferable to have previous experience in a care/ nursing home
• To work in correlation with the Trust's values and ethics, and promote these at all times through work practices
• Preferable to be a driver
• Flexibility in your availability is also useful
