As of 28 March, 71.7% of adults in East Devon have had their first dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.

More than a million vaccines have now been administered across Devon and Cornwall.

The rest of the county has similarly high figures for adults who have received one dose, with 67.1% in Mid Devon, 68.7% in North Devon, 70% in South Hams, 71.2% in Teignbridge, 70% in Torbay, 70.2% in Torridge, and 71.9% in West Devon.

Exeter and Plymouth have lower percentages, with 51.9% and 60% respectively, possibly due to having larger and younger populations.

Many will be invited to have the vaccination by their GP.
