Kitchen fire breaks out in Exmouth home

A kitchen fire broke out at an Exmouth home earlier this evening (Saturday, November 7th).

Firefighters were called to a home in Hulham Road at about 6.30pm.

Two fire engines were called to the incident and confirmed a fire had broken out involving a dishwasher.

Fire crews got to work to extinguish the fire using two breathing apparatus, one hose reel, a thermal imaging camera and a positive pressure ventilation fan.

The cause of the fire is believed to be accidental.
