Walk, jeff or run your way around Exmouth on the last week of lockdown to help raise money for two worthy causes.

Exmouth residents are being urged to take part in a virtual event in aid of Exmouth Friends In Need - which works to prevent or relieve poverty in the town Exmouth and the surrounding area.

The second cause is Exmouth Tri-Hards - which works to transform lives through sports, fitness and friendships.

All you have to do is sign up, for £12, and select whether you'd like to do a 6k or 11k route around the town between, Monday, November and Sunday, November 29.

Shelly Stammers, of Exmouth Tri-Hards, said: "It is an event for all. Please enter if you fancy a November challenge.

"Those who wish can go onto the leaderboard and yes. You get a medal.

"We hope those will take part to support the two fantastic community projects and to benefit their own mental health.

"Walking, jeffing and running outdoors is great for all of us."

Entries close Sunday, November 22, and participants will need to submit their time by 8pm on Sunday, November 29, if they want to go on the leaderboard which will be published on Monday, November 30.
