Award-winning Exmouth Fish and Chip shop Krispies has announced an opening date for its new Click and Collect shop in Pines Road.

The new shop in Pines Road will open on Wednesday, December 4, and will feature a new Click and Collect option.

Earlier this year Krispies' owners Tim and Kelly Barnes announced they would be expanding into new premises.

The award-winning chip masters, famous for their battered chips, are harnessing modern technology in their shop.

Customers will be able to order their meals via a new app, available on both phones and tablets.

According to Krispies' website: "Krispies Click and Collect will be available from our Pines Road shop only. Krispies will have a dedicated app which you can download onto your phone or tablet.

"Using our app, select Click and Collect, book your preferred time slot, choose your food from our full menu, pay online then pop down to our Pines Road shop to pick up your Krispies Fish and Chips."

Click and collect will only be available at the new shop in Pines Road. The app will also give customers the option to have their meals delivered.

The new Krispies app will be available from both android and apple app stores.

Krispies' original store in Exeter Road will be open as usual, seven days a week, 12pm until 10pm.

The Click and Collect and Delivery App will be available at the end of November.
