An Exmouth businessman narrowly missed out on putting a question to Prime Minister Boris Johnson on a BBC radio show this morning.
The owner of Exmouth based marketing agency Vibrant Pulse, Daniel Fox, 33, was due to speak to the PM live on BBC Radio 5 Live's Breakfast show today (November 15) but due to time constraints his questions were left unanswered.
Daniel is disappointed that he did not get a chance to put his concerns directly to the Prime Minister and says he feels let down by the 'childish politics' taking place at Westminster.
Daniel told Nub News: "All the questions were vetted beforehand by the BBC to prevent repeat questions. My original questions was, what will you do to protect small and medium sized businesses after Brexit?
"Unfortunately the person before me changed their question at the last minute and their new question pretty much answered mine.
"I had a back up question ready, how do you think Brexit will change the future of British politics? I was put back in the call queue but Boris was taking his time to answer questions and our time ran out.
"I'm disappointed, the questions I wanted to ask were on very pressing issues for small and medium businesses. There's a lot of uncertainty at the moment around Brexit which is having an impact on local businesses."
Daniel was seeking some clarity on how Brexit will impact small and medium businesses as he is trying to invest in his marketing agency at the moment in an effort to help it grow.
"What we are finding is people are spending their money much more wisely. We are currently increasing our customer base but we've never had to work so hard to do that," said Daniel.
"I feel let down. There is so much childish politics going on at the moment. It seems to me this could have all been sorted out a long time ago.
"I don't think our politicians are aware of the real life impact of their policies. Something has to change. A lot of my customers are very angry."
