Exmouth Town Concert Band, a community wind band from the East Devon seaside town, are seeking new players as well as applications for vacant committee positions.

As coronavirus restrictions ease, there's never been a better time to join this popular and relaxed ensemble.

Whether you've been playing for 20 years or just two, the band welcomes musicians of all ages and ranges of experience, and have a particular need for trombone players at the moment.

If you're looking to return to playing, but have since disposed of your instrument, don't hesitate to get in touch as the band have a range of instruments available to loan.

Members of the community are also being encouraged to apply for the volunteer roles of Secretary, Treasurer and Publicity Officer in order to fill the vacancies left as a result of the current holders relocating later this year.

There's no requirement to be a musician or band member to be part of the committee, so contact the band via email to [email protected] to be considered or to learn more about what the roles involve.
