Locks drilled and windows smashed as thieves target cars parked at Woodbury Common

Thieves have been targetting vehicles parked near Woodbury Common, prompting a police investigation.

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to come forward after a series of thefts from vehicles in car parks on Woodbury Common.

The thefts and vehicle interferences have taken place at various times during the day. Vehicles have had their locks drilled or windows smashed and handbags and money have been stolen.

Officers are reminding members of the public not to leave valuables in the vehicles – thieves know all of the hiding places.
