A man found dead in Exeter has been identified as a 23-year-old from Exmouth.

Police were called at around 11.30am on Friday, December 20, following reports of concern for the welfare of a man in a car park in Smythen Street in Exeter.

South Western Ambulance Service and Devon and Cornwall Police attended the scene.

A man, aged 23 and from Exmouth, was declared deceased at the scene. The incident is not believed to be suspicious.
