The RMT and Aslef unions have announced more dates on which rail strikes will take place.

The RMT industrial action is scheduled for Saturday 26 August and Saturday 2 September, and the Aslef action for Friday 1 September with an additional overtime ban on Saturday 2 September.

It means there will be no trains between Exmouth and Paignton on Saturday 26 August and no replacement buses.

It is not yet clear how much services will be affected on the other dates.

Tickets for Saturday 26 August can be used the day before or up to and including Tuesday 29 August, and tickets for Saturday 2 September can be used the day before or up to and including Tuesday 5 September. If you had tickets for travel on strike days you can also claim a full refund.

Strikes have been taking place on the railways since June last year.
