More than 100 people asked to leave Exmouth beach yesterday Fri 2 April after reports of fighting

More than 100 people were asked to leave Exmouth beach yesterday (Fri 2 April) evening as there were reports of fighting.

At around 6.35pm Devon and Cornwall Police were called to disperse people on the beach.

A baseball bat was seized.

Police are now investigating a report of an assault, as well as the possibility that lockdown rules were breached.
