NCI Exmouth, a volunteer coastwatch service, was recently invited to give a talk in Exeter.

The institution's Exmouth Presentations Team spoke at the Exeter Social Club at St Sidwell's Community Centre on the subject of water safety and the hazards of Exmouth.

NCI Exmouth thanked the Exeter Social Club for its support.

The talk was given to Exeter Social Club (NCI Exmouth)

A spokesperson said: "The NCI Exmouth Presentations Team were invited to give a talk to the Exeter Social Club at the St. Sidwell's Community Centre in Exeter.

"Lots of interest from the members of the group and some water safety messages passed on about the hazards of Exmouth.

"Thank you for your support and interest in our charity."

NCI Exmouth is inviting clubs and societies who would like a similar presentation to get in touch via email at [email protected].

NCI Exmouth is part of the National Coastwatch Institution. Its lookout station, Coastwatch House, is located on Exmouth seafront, and its trained volunteers keep watch every day of the year.
