NCI Exmouth has thanked Budleigh Salterton's West End Kiosk for holding a fundraiser for the charity complete with food and entertainment recently.

The volunteer coastwatch service is part of the National Coastwatch Institution, and its trained volunteers keep watch every day of the year on Exmouth seafront.

An NCI Exmouth spokesperson said: "A huge thank-you to Roger and Rebekah of the Budleigh Salterton West End Kiosk, located on the beach at Steamer Steps, for supporting and helping to raise funds for Exmouth NCI on Saturday last.

"It was a wonderful afternoon and evening with entertainment being provided by the Budleigh Salterton Ukulele Band and the most delicious seafood and tapas.

"A wonderful way to spend a Saturday and our team of Exmouth NCI volunteers were on hand to explain more about our volunteering work."
