A new free-to-join running club has been founded in Exmouth.

Funded by donations, Exmouth Running Club was set up in July this year by local Kevin Palmer "to benefit the running community".

Runners of all abilities are welcome.

Founder Kevin said: "It is free as we don't want any restrictions for anyone with regard to joining a club.

"We are passionate about helping and supporting members and the runs are geared up to help improve running ability whilst still making it fun."

People wanting to join a run can book online and turn up at a specified location. Run leaders reportedly have valid licences granted by England Athletics.

Group runs currently available at the time of writing include a 'couch to 6.6km course' on Tuesdays and a '2 in 1 club run (social afterwards)' on Thursdays, both at 6.45pm.
