Pictures: Exmouth in Bloom volunteers hailed for hard work in 2020

Green-thumbed volunteers that go above and beyond to make Exmouth beautiful have been recognised for their inspirational work across 2020.
Exmouth in Bloom (EIB) are proud to share a certificate from the Royal Horticultural Society (RHS), acknowledging the work that 'Bloom' volunteers have been doing this year.
An EIB spokesperson said: "This year an amazing sense of community spirit has enabled people to face the difficulties of this dreadful pandemic together.
"Through Exmouth in Bloom, It's Your Neighbourhood (IYN), and other community gardening activities you have laid the strong foundations that have helped make your community more resilient in these testing times.
"We know that people have felt closer to nature through lockdown and valued access to green space so much more, and we have heard that people are valuing your work more than ever before.
"Very well done to all the neighbourhood groups and individuals who are included and referred to in this letter.
"Exmouth in Bloom will be celebrating with a formal presentation to all those acknowledged here, after lockdown restrictions are lifted."
They added the RHS and in the Bloom Regions have been incredibly moved by people's stories of courage, creativity and ingenuity in helping your wider community be stronger, greener and happier through this time.
The RHS recognises how important EIB volunteers are and how valuable their work is by awarding the following certificates in 2020.
