Police make further arrests in connection with death of Exmouth girl

Police have made two further arrests in connection with the death of an Exmouth girl.

Lucy Hill, 16, died in hospital after taking a tablet believed to have been MDMA at an Exeter nightclub on 3 December.

A boy from the Exmouth area, who was 16 years old at the time but is now 17, was arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug.

He has since been further arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the production of a class A drug and has been released on police bail to return on Wednesday 31 May.

Two other youngsters have also been arrested.

A 17-year-old boy from the St Austell area has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug and on suspicion of being concerned in the production of a class A drug and has been released on police bail to return on Wednesday 7 June.

A 17-year-old girl from the Exmouth area has been arrested on suspicion of being concerned in the supply of a class A drug and has been released on police bail to return on Monday 5 June.
