Rail strikes set to impact Exmouth

Rail strikes are set to impact Exmouth after the RMT union announced 24-hour strikes on Thursday 16 and Saturday 18 March.

No trains will operate on the Avocet Line between Exeter and Exmouth, and there will be no replacement buses.

Tickets for Thursday 16 and Saturday 18 March can be used on the day before or up to and including Tuesday 21 March​.

If you have a tickets for travel on strike days you can claim a full refund or amend your ticket. If you travel and are delayed, you may be entitled to Delay Repay compensation.

Rail strikes have so far taken place in June, July, August, October, November, and December last year and in January this year.
