Police are continuing enquiries into an alleged attempted robbery which happened on Withycombe Road in Exmouth at around 10pm on Friday 6 September.

The victims, two 17-year-old boys, reported that a group of people threatened them and demanded money.

DC Ailsa Mason said: "The offenders left empty handed but the victims were left understandably upset and shaken by the matter.

"The victims spoke to a group of four men and women around the time of the incident who would have witnesses the offence. They are described to be around 18-years-old and one of the men was wearing a floral pattered shirt. They could have vital information we are seeking.

"Two 17-year-old boys, a 15-year-old boy and a 14-year-old boy, all local to the area, were arrested and are currently on police bail until 4th October."

If anyone has any information on this matter, please contact police via [email protected] or by calling 101 quoting crime CR/81074/19.
