East Devon District Council has announced that the public toilets at the Magnolia Centre and Phear Park in Exmouth will reopen on Monday (June 30).

Facilities at Manor Gardens and Fox Holes car park have been open since May.

The opening hours for all four Exmouth toilet blocks will also be extended from 8am to 8pm every day during the summer.

Each of the 14 toilets blocks in the East Devon area will be cleaned to stringent Covid-19 standards four times a day – up to an hour for each clean – using viracidal cleaning products. Additionally, every week the toilets will have a full site disinfected deep clean.

The toilets that will reopen from Monday 29 June with opening hours from 8am to 8pm in the summer months are:

- Cliff Path (West End, Steamer Steps), Budleigh Salterton

- Magnolia Centre, Exmouth

- Phear Park, Exmouth

- Market Place, Sidmouth

Toilets that reopened from May and will have opening times extended from 8am to 8pm during the summer months from Monday 29 June are:

- West Street Car Park, Axminster

- East End (Lime Kiln), Budleigh Salterton

- Jubilee Gardens, Beer

- Foxholes Car Park, Exmouth

- Manor Gardens, Exmouth

- Queens Drive/Old Lifeboat, Exmouth

- King Street, Honiton

- West Walk, Seaton

- Connaught Gardens, Sidmouth

- Triangle, Sidmouth

The council has 27 toilet blocks and will continually review further reopenings in the future.
