Santa 'Paws' will soon be setting up a grotto with a difference in Exmouth, catering for the Christmas needs of our canine companions.

This December Exmouth's K9 Clark's Dog Grooming and Retail Shop is putting on a series of Christmas events to help dogs and their owners get into the festive spirit.

K9 Clark's owner, Haley Clark, said: "Do you love Christmas and dogs as much as I do? If so this is 'Pawfect' for you!"

"The Elves have been in touch and have confirmed that Santa Paws, the big man himself, is setting up a Grotto at K9 Clark's Dog Grooming and Retail Shop. 50, Exeter Rd, Exmouth.

"Like me, he believes that dogs should not be left out of all the fun and festivities - Christmas is for everyone.

"He will be welcoming doggies from the nice list, as-well as those 'Sock Stealers' from the naughty list!"

There will be mince pies, to keep the humans busy, while the dogs have a photo taken with Santa Paws and receive their Christmas treat bags.

Any little human brothers and sisters are also welcome to sit with Santa Paws and smile for the camera too.

This 'Dogtastic' event will take place on Saturday 7, Saturday 14, Sunday 15 and Saturday, December 21, between 10am and 2pm.

The cost is £4.00 per dog. This will include a photo, edited and emailed to you. A human mince pie and a doggy treat bag.

£1.00 will be donated to the Animals in Distress charity, so they can ensure the animals in their care, can enjoy Christmas as much as we do.

Haley added: "And remember - If Dogs could talk instead of bark, they'd say 'let's go to K9 Clarks!'
