Police are not treating the death of a woman who was found at the bottom of the cliffs in Budleigh as suspicious.

A woman from Newton Poppleford, who was in her 50s, was found at the bottoms of the cliffs below Jubilee Park. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Jubilee Park is located off Northview Road and it is part of the coast path.

"Officers attended alongside Coastguard teams from Beer and Exmouth.

"The woman, in her 50s and from Newton Poppleford, was pronounced deceased at the scene.

"The death is not being treated as suspicious at this time."
