Thieves take charity boxes from two Exmouth businesses in early morning break ins
Police are investigating two burglaries in Exmouth in the early hours of this morning (December 30).
Thieves smashed a glass door to gain entry to Pines Pharmacy in Pines Road sometime between 3am and 3.45am.
A full charity box plus the shop till, containing a small amount of cash, were taken.
Officers are also investigating a break-in at Harbour View Café on Queens Drive this morning.
An offender smashed a rear door to get inside the premises between 2.20am and 3am.
It is believed charity boxes were taken during the burglary.
Police are linking the two crimes and are appealing for witnesses. They would like to hear from anyone who saw or heard anything suspicious in the area at the time of the offences.
