A concert at Exmouth's Imperial Recreation Ground originally intended to last three nights has been scaled back to one night only.
It comes as organisers of the Live in Devon event had difficulty securing artists to perform at the show.
Pop band McFly will still headline the concert on Saturday 3 September.
A spokesperson for Live in Devon said: "Unfortunately, despite our every effort, we regret to announce that Live In Devon 2022 will be a one-night only event this year.
"Since the announcement of Live In Devon at the Imperial Recreation Ground, we have been working very hard behind the scenes to try and secure the right artists that we feel would be well received at Live In Devon.
"Due to a very busy summer already planned for the music industry with tours and festivals being rescheduled from 2020 and 2021, securing the right artists has provided to be quite a challenge.
"We completely understand the disappointment this may bring but we are remaining optimistic and look forward to returning in 2023 with a full weekend line-up.
"We want to thank you all for the support to date and we can't wait to still bring McFly, along with special guests Megan McKenna and Callum Beattie, to Live In Devon on Saturday 3 September!"
