The dinosaur brass rubbing trail in Exmouth now has now been enhanced with a free app.

Using the Ordnance Survey app 'Secret Stories', locals and visitors can now access the Exmouth's Brassed-Off Dinosaurs trail complete with audio stories and a circular self-guided walk.

The Secret Stories app was developed in response to the Covid-19 pandemic as more and more people were exploring their local area.

Veronica Boatman, Tourism Officer for Exmouth Town Council said: "We immediately saw the potential and a brilliant opportunity to use the app to enhance the dinosaur brass rubbing trail.

"Working in partnership with Ordnance Survey the 'Exmouth's Brassed-Off Dinosaurs' trail was created. We really hope that children and families enjoy it as much as we did in developing it."

You will need paper and crayons to do the brass rubbing, or you can collect a 'dinosaur pack' with everything you need from the Exmouth Tourist Information Centre on the Strand for £1.

You can download the Secret Stories app on the Apple App Store here and from Google Play here.
