The Exmouth Players hosted the preliminary round of the All England Theatre Festival last week at the Blackmore Theatre.

The Festival Organiser, Pat Cowey welcomed back the GODA adjudicator David Price and eight drama groups from around East Devon who performed two plays each evening culminating in the presentations of the awards on the final night.

The overall winner of the festival was Salterton Drama Club who will go on to compete in the quarter finals.

Award winners are as follows: Nathan Wakefield, Leigh Steedman, Pat Cowey (Festival Organiser), Ken Elvy, Paul Turner, Molly Morton, David Price (Adjudicator) Penny Hill, Elaine Price.
