Exeter Chiefs backs Niamh Terry and Meg Davies have been selected for the Welsh squad for the match against Ireland tomorrow (Sat 10 April).

Both players will be on the bench to start with.

If they get time on the field, it will be Terry's third cap, and Davies' second.

The Welsh side was soundly beaten 53-0 by France last Saturday, but put up a solid defence in the second half.

Head Coach Warren Abrahams said: "We are all proud and privileged to represent the Wales jersey.

"Last weekend's loss hurts us all, but that pain is important if we want to improve and be competitive against the best sides in the world.

Abrahams also gave Terry a mention, saying the match will be a good opportunity for her.

"It's a chance for some players to start the game and we have youngsters Niamh and Caitlin on the bench too.

"We are enthused by the performance of the new caps last weekend."

You can watch the match on BBC iPlayer.
