The Exeter Chiefs will come up against Leinster in the quarter-finals of the Heineken European Champions Cup this Saturday 10 April.
The Chiefs, together with Sale Sharks, are the only two Gallagher Premiership sides to make it to the quarter finals, alongside five French clubs and one Irish team, Leinster.
This match will mark the 16th time that Leinster has made it to the final eight teams of the Championship.
Exeter are the reigning champions, having won the tournament last year.
Director of Rugby Rob Baxter said: "It's a very significant challenge, but is it any bigger than last season?
"We've met [Leinster] a few times and they've come out on top, but we've moved on to a degree.
"I'm not saying we're meeting on a level playing field, but it's far more level than to talk about past history too much."
Winger Jack Nowell is making a swift recovery from his hamstring injury, and could make an appearance soon.
Rob continued: "We've got the reins on him and we're holding him back, but he's there or thereabouts.
"Jack would say yes he could play, I would say history says he could potentially hurt himself again, so I would say no. That's how close he is."
Kickoff vs Leinster is on Saturday at 5.30pm at Sandy Park.
You can watch the match on BT Sport.
