Exmouth Town defeated a spirited Royal Marines team by nine goals to nil to win the Exmouth Community Rose Bowl on Wednesday (19 July).

It is a trophy that has been played for a while and is hoped to become an annual event.

Exmouth were two goals up in a tight first half, but the second half was a more of a one-way affair.

The event was well supported by over 260 supporters.
