Final score: Exmouth Town 4-1 Evesham United

Saturday 17 September proved to be a great day for Town as a crowd of 380 witnessed their win moving them to level top in the Southern League South 1st Division.

Town were 4-1 up at half-time with goals from Denny, an OG Harris and Landricombe. Evesham also had a player sent off before half-time.

The second half was a more sedate affair with Town having a few chances but not converting.

Evesham supporters who probably numbered around 80 thought they might have pulled a goal back, but Cullen was on hand to make a fantastic goal line clearance.

Due to Town's defeat in the FA Trophy in midweek they are at home again next Saturday 24 September when they entertain Westbury in the league.
