Exmouth's Withycombe RFC enjoys Boxing Day family match

On Boxing Day, Withy hosted its famous match between a Withycombe Club XV and President's XV in front of a packed Raleigh Park crowd.

As ever, the crowds were not disappointed with plenty of action and excitement, all played out in the traditional Boxing Day spirit.

With well over 50 players pulling on the Withy shirt, including several pairs of brothers and father/son combinations it really was the perfect example of family-orientated grassroots rugby!

Special mention of thanks goes to Doug, our referee on the day who kept the game flowing well in the best possible manner.

All in all, another day to be proud of for all those involved.

We'd also like to thank the all players, coaches, supporters, sponsors, staff and committee at the club for all their hard work, support and dedication throughout 2022 and we look forward to seeing you all again soon at Raleigh Park and we wish you a very happy, safe and prosperous New Year!
