Exmouth RNLI saves woman cut off by tide at Orcombe Point

Exmouth RNLI volunteers rescued a woman who had become cut off by the tide at Orcombe Point on Tuesday (24 October).

The charity launched its inshore lifeboat just before 11.45am and immediately sped to the scene.

The woman was brought on board the lifeboat and taken back to the shore at Exmouth Lifeboat Station.

She was not injured and did not require medical treatment.
