The organisers of Exmouth Festival are looking for local food sellers to provide 'a wide variety of tasty choices' to hungry festival-goers.

Exmouth Festival will return for its 24th year in May, at its new home at the Imperial Recreation Ground. The festival's organisers, Exmouth Town Council, are looking for local food vendors to keep the party going.

A spokesperson for the council said: "Along with our fantastic music and events programme, we want to keep our audience well-fed and happy with a wide variety of delicious food offerings, along with some festival-friendly activities and shopping.

"We're looking for imaginative and customer-focused local food sellers, offering a wide variety of tasty choices for our hungry festival-goers to cater for their different tastes and diets.

"We also need other interesting activity and festival stalls to appeal to our family-oriented crowd and add an eclectic vibe to the whole event."

Last year's festival featured a primary school showcase, family comedy workshops, lots of live music from local bands, theatre and a stunt show.

The day to day running of the festival is down to the commitment and enthusiasm of its volunteers, the town council staff and the companies which run the stages, sound and security.

It is primarily funded by Exmouth Town Council as well as the generous donations of festival goers in the previous year.
