Art at Powderham Castle is offering local creatives the chance to create artwork for an exclusive exhibition in September.

The art retreat, in which people can spend a day at the castle for free, will take place between 19 May - 16 June from 10am-5pm.

A spokesperson said on social media: "Painters, potters, performers, anyone with a creative spark; you are invited to spend a day free at the castle, creating artwork for an exclusive exhibition in September.

"With the grounds closed to the public you will be offered your own peaceful retreat and space to create at the castle!"
