A new bicycle delivery service, 'Execargo', is looking for volunteers for its trial period.

A Transition Exmouth initiative, Execargo is designed to provide a more eco-friendly local delivery service.

Currently free of charge for select shops only, the trial period is expected to finish at the end of June.

After this, funds raised will go towards purchasing or extending the rental of the bike, and it is hoped that surplus money will allow for people doing logistics and deliveries to be paid.

Volunteers should:

  1. Be able to spare a few hours a week to help make deliveries (an afternoon/morning, or more)
  2. Be able to ride a bike
  3. Wear their own helmet
  4. Be happy to collect or select deliveries/ parcels/ shopping from local independent shops

Full training will be provided.

If you would like to volunteer, please email Angela at [email protected]

You can follow Execargo on Facebook here.
