Score: Exmouth Town FC 2-1 Helston AFC

Town had to graft against Cornish side Helston on Saturday 2 April.

Two first half goals from Levi Landricombe and Ben Steer gave

Town a 2-0 half-time lead. The second half became eventful as the referee became central to the game. Three of Towns players were sin-binned (2 at the same time) resulting to Town having to play with 9 and 10 men for over half of the second half! He then decided to book numerous Town players and give Helston a soft penalty, which gave Helston hope of a come back. The final play saw Town hit the bar from a break away. The final whistle was then blown for a great win. Unfortunately the ref then decided he would red card Denny for something that was said. Town return to Helston to play in the league cup quarter final. Town are then back in league action next Saturday at 3pm v Bridgwater Utd in another massive game.
