Calling all tradesmen: help needed to renovate Exmouth Museum

Exmouth Museum is reopening soon on Saturday 22 May, and certain parts of the building are in need of renovation.

While their funds are 'very limited', those who offer their help can expect an opportunity to discuss advertising their business at the museum.

The list of required renovations is as follows:

Job list

The main building

- Painting of the front wall (masonry paint, brushes, rollers needed)

- Writing of the 'Exmouth Museum' sign

- Fitting of three security lights

- Replacing of entrance carpet (measures approx. 11'x6')

The main entrance

- Wooden/concrete troughs required

- Building of a raised bed (complete with plants)

- Two wooden benches/ chairs required

- Repainting of lower wall

The small cloakroom

NB. a plumber would suit the following.

- Installing of new cistern

- Removal and replacement of small area of tiles

- Installing of new electric water heater

- Installing of new light fitting

- Fitting of new skirting board

The rear of the museum

- Removal of rotten wooden fire escape

- Cutting of branches and removal of ivy

A waste disposal/ skip is also required.
