Date: 07.08.2018Time: 08:48Location: Union Road, ExeterFire appliances from Middlemoor, Danes Castle and Topsham were mobilised to a report from neighbours of smoke issuing from the rear of a property with smoke alarms sounding.  On arrival at the scene fire crews forced entry through the ground floor rear door of the property where smoke was issuing from cooking on a stove.  Crews used 2 breathing apparatus wearers and 1 hosereel jet to make the property safe and remove the cooking to open air.  A positive pressure ventilation fan was used to ventilate the property.
