A fire appliance from Exmouth was mobilised to initial reports from a member of the public who could see a wooden structure on fire in the rear garden of an unoccupied new build property at the above location.

Shortly after arriving and investigating this was confirmed to be a wooden shed (almost completely burned down) and fencing on fire.  ! hose reel jet was used to extinguish the fire, which started accidentally, before a thermal imaging camera was used to check the roof and loft space of the newly built house, after it sustained external fire damage (to a door and guttering).

This incident is now complete and was brought under control at 0732hrs. Once satisfied that there was no internal fire spread or hotspots to the property, duty of care was left with the site manager.
