A keen cyclist from Clyst Honiton in East Devon, has won two VIP tickets to this year's Devon Stage of the Tour of Britain on Monday 3 September.
Lyn Hill of Clyst Honiton won the tickets after visiting Devon County Council's stand at the Devon County Show earlier this year and entering a photo competition.
Entrants were asked to post a Tour of Britain-themed photo on social media.
Lyn was presented with the tickets by Councillor Stuart Hughes, Devon County Council's Cabinet Member with responsibility for cycling, outside the Young Hayes Centre in Cranbrook – this year's stage start line.
Starting in Cranbrook, East Devon, the race covers 174km (108miles) of stunning countryside across East Devon, Mid Devon and North Devon before finishing in the historic estuary town of Barnstaple.
Lyn and John Hill have chosen to watch the event at Barnstaple, this year's finish line.
Lyn said: "I'm a big cycling fan and we are really looking forward to it.
"Originally I was planning to cycle to Barnstaple and follow the route – but given that it's 100miles long it occurred to me if I did that I would probably be a bit too tired to enjoy the event itself!"
Councillor Hughes said: "Congratulations to Lyn for winning the competition. This
year is going to be another fantastic Devon stage. It's one of the few national sporting events people can watch live for free. Don't miss it!".
