Mike Rosser is standing for election as a Green Party candidate to represent the Exmouth Littleham ward at East Devon District Council. He is currently a councillor at town level.

----------

Exmouth has been a good place for my children to grow up. I hope it will be a safe and good place for my granddaughter to grow up in.

I am concerned about further large scale housing development in the town, which is linked to probably the most congested road in East Devon.

I will listen to and present the views of ward members.

I will work in partnership with others, regardless of political persuasion, if it helps to address climate change, is beneficial to the environment, and to those living in Exmouth.

Here are another 100 words, courtesy of AI written as a Shakespearean sonnet:

Upon fair Exmouth's coast, a councillor stands,

As Green as fertile fields and verdant lands.

To Conservative hearts, a plea doth make,

To join in purpose, for our town's dear sake.

In local commerce shall we find our strength,

And green investments stretch prosperity's length.

Our heritage preserved, our coast so fair,

We'll cherish what hath brought us pleasure rare.

To services, our pledge we shall devote,

And in the public's trust, we'll proudly float.

To safer streets and thriving communities,

We'll work in partnership, as unity breeds.

Vote Green, dear friends, and let us forge the way,

To an Exmouth bright, united, we shall sway.
